Ukraine’s MIA discussed cooperation with the U.S. Embassy

November 15, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Mary Hakobyan met with the delegation of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine headed by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Defense Attaché Joshua Hensley.

During the meeting, the Ukrainian side expressed gratitude to the U.S. for the assistance provided to Ukraine to repel the armed aggression.

In addition, the parties exchanged views on the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the National Guard of Ukraine and the Defense Cooperation Section of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, enhancing collaboration in the field of humanitarian demining, investigation of war crimes committed by russia, and conducting training for the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The participants of the meeting also tackled the possibility of exchanging experience in the use of aviation to perform tasks related to the evacuation of the population.

The parties agreed on further cooperation for more efficient performance of tasks by the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
