The latest statement from Russia regarding Ukraine’s alleged violation of the ceasefire concerning energy infrastructure is untrue.
This was reported by the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“The latest statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense (about Ukraine allegedly violating the ceasefire regarding attacks on energy infrastructure) is false, just like the similar statement from yesterday. On March 25-27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not strike energy facilities in Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions, nor did they target energy infrastructure in temporarily occupied Crimea,” the General Staff emphasized.
They also pointed out that the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country continues to “fabricate fake claims to falsely accuse Ukraine and prolong the war.”
Earlier, on March 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense also alleged that two Ukrainian drones had been shot down near the Crimean coast and accused Ukraine of targeting a gas storage facility in Glebivskyi. Furthermore, Russia claimed that Ukraine had launched an “energy attack” on Kursk and Bryansk regions.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reiterated that these claims are false.
