“I am convinced that a just peace in Ukraine is in China’s strategic interests, and China’s role as a global force for peace is important,” said Dmytro Kuleba during a meeting with Wang Yi on July 24.

Kuleba briefed his counterpart on the outcome of the Peace Summit in Switzerland and emphasized Ukraine was ready to engage with the Russian Federation during the next peace talks.

Ukrainian diplomat also emphasized that Russian aggression has destroyed peace and slowed down development of Ukraine in all fields, and each new day of war causes new violations against humanity and further erosion of justice which is why it is crucial to end the war against Ukraine, restore peace and accelerate the restoration of our country.
