As part of the business relocation program, 692 enterprises were relocated from the zone of active hostilities to safe regions of Ukraine. Of that amount, 477 companies have already resumed their work.
In total, 1,763 applications from enterprises that want to relocate their facilities have been registered on the digital interaction platform for relocation assistance. Currently, 326 companies engage in the production transfer process – they are looking for a suitable location or method of transportation.
“Since the first days of the war, the Government has focused on business support programs. It is crucial to preserve Ukrainian industry at the maximum. That is why we launched the relocation program. Any enterprise can participate, receiving help in solving logistical issues, transportation and installation of equipment, finding premises with the necessary infrastructure. To speed up and coordinate actions with all program participants, a digital relocation platform was launched. It makes it possible to improve the organization of the relocation process and offer entrepreneurs additional opportunities,” said Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna.
As a reminder, as part of the program, companies can transfer to one of the western regions of Ukraine. These are Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyy, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Volyn and Rivne regions.
