Ukraine Represented in Agricultural Exhibition in Qatar

The sixth annual Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition kicked off today, March 20, and Ukrainian president, Petro Poroshenko took part in the opening ceremony.

The president walked around and saw various stands from different countries, including that of Ukraine. He was accompanied by the Prime Minister and Interior Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, and the Minister of Economy and Commerce of Qatar, Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani.

Poroshenko greeted the Ukrainian participants of the exhibition and noted that a number of documents will be signed. In particular, the protection of investments and opening of markets for Ukrainian producers.

The exhibition highlights the most important products and equipment in the agricultural sector, and presents the latest innovations in agricultural techniques and latest developments in the agricultural sector in Qatar. It also presents the most important opportunities and the latest technologies that can be used to support the growing agricultural sector in the country.

The exhinition is ongoing until March 22.

Poroshenko is on an official visit to Qatar.
