Ukraine needs to produce more diverse types of domestic weapons that will allow our military to strike and destroy enemy targets at fairly large distances from the front line. Ukrainian aviator, President of the Ukrainian Aviation Pilots Association Gennady Khazan emphasized this on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.
“Ukraine as a state needs to have its own types of weapons that can destroy objects quite deep in the rear of the Russian Federation,” the Ukrainian aviator noted.
He believes that, for example, Ukraine can become a world leader in the production of drones.
“Currently, a large number of Ukrainian engineers and specialists work in this field. And these are very creative people. I have seen some modern developments, and I will tell you – this will be a very unpleasant surprise for the Russian occupiers who came to Ukraine with weapons in their hands,” the guest of the broadcast said.
He also noted that the state needs to pay more attention to domestic developers and manufacturers of this type of weapons, because some procedures take a lot of time.
“For example, the procedures required to register your production or obtain certain permits. I would like such procedures to be transparent and simpler. This will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to accept weapons samples from small manufacturing companies. After all, even a small enterprise can make its contribution to the destruction of the enemy,” Gennady Khazan summed up.
