Ukraine national futsal team went to Slovenia for Euro 2018

Today, January 29, Ukraine national futsal team went to Ljubljana, where Euro-2018 will be held from January 30 to February 10. Ukrainians have already arrived at their destination and are located at the Austrian Trend Hotel near Arena Stozhice” which hosts the tournament.

Final list of “blue-yellow” head coach Oleksandr Kosenko included 14 performers:

The goalkeepers are Yevhen Ivanyak (“Hurricane”), Kyrylo Tsypun (“Prodexim”), Dmytro Lytvynenko (“ERA-PAK”, Czech Republic);

field players are Mykola Hrytsyna, Mykhailo Hrytsyna, Taras Korolyshyn (all from “Capital”, Belarus), Volodymyr Razuvanov (“Dina”, Russia), Mykola Bilotserkivets (“Norilsk Nickel”, Russia), Serhiy Zhurba (“HIT”), Oleksandr Pediash, Andriy Hamdamov, Ruslan Sheremeta, Andriy Lysenko (all from “Sokil”), Petro Shoturma (“Hurricane”).

Ukraine will hold its first match of the group stage of Euro-2018 on February 2 against the team of Romania (the start of the meeting is at 21.45), and on February 4 they are meeting with the silver medalist of the 2010 UEFA European Football Championship (Portugal) (19.00).

Group A included Serbia, Italy and Slovenia, group B involved Russia, Poland and Kazakhstan, group D included Spain, France and Azerbaijan.

The two best teams of each group will qualify for the quarter-final (February 5-6). Semi-finals are scheduled for February 8. Match for the third place and the final will take place on February 10.
