Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba believes that Ukraine and Germany can solve the problem of Berlin’s blocking the purchase of weapons by Ukraine through NATO within the framework of negotiations.

UA reports this with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.

“We do have some discussions with some members of the Alliance about how this whole system will function. But I am convinced that we should talk about this at a bilateral level, as diplomats. Because I do not think that this is an unsolvable task: we can solve it through negotiations” – said Dmytro Kuleba.

The Foreign Minister added that yesterday, during a telephone conversation with German Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock, the issue of blocking arms supplies to Ukraine was discussed. The foreign ministers of Ukraine and Germany agreed that diplomatic negotiations would be enough to look for a solution to any situation.

To remind, in an interview with the Italian ‘La Repubblica’ Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Germany recently prevented Ukraine’s procurement of anti-drone rifles and anti-sniper systems, which are exclusively defensive tools, through NATO.
