Ukraine Improves Its Rating in the Military Strength Ranking

Within a year, the Ukrainian military improved its rating in the Global Firepower Military Strength Ranking by one point.

Now, the Ukrainian military is at No. 29 out of 136 countries. It was No. 30 last year.

The United States is in first place, followed by Russia and China. India is fourth, followed by France, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, Turkey and Germany. Bhutan is in last place.

Global Firepower conducted a comprehensive survey for this rating and took into account many factors. Some of them were: weapon diversity; nuclear power; First World, Second World and Third World statuses; geographical factors, logistical flexibility and natural resources; manpower; membership to NATO and financial stability.
