Ukraine began to buy oxygen in Poland. It is already being delivered to hospitals.
This was announced by Health Minister Viktor Liashko in an interview with UE, UA reports.
“Yes (Ukraine has already started buying oxygen in Poland – ed.), Given that it (a plant that produced oxygen and stopped working – ed.) in western Ukraine, we then contacted Poland – it’s faster than carrying oxygen from Donetsk, Luhansk or Zaporizhzhia regions. The Ministry of Infrastructure quickly issued all the necessary permits in one day, and the distributor that supplies this oxygen brought a couple of cars from Poland and took them to hospitals” – the minister said.

When asked at what price Ukraine buys oxygen in Poland, Liashko said that “the hospital did not feel where it got this oxygen from”.
“It was a question of a supplier who closed its needs under its own contracts” – Viktor Liashko added.
It is specified that, according to tenders on ProZorro platform, hospitals buy oxygen from Ukrainian producers at UAH 10-15 thousand per ton.
