After meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Schoof, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian intelligence had provided the Netherlands with information about components manufactured in the EU and the U.S. that are still being found in Russian missiles, despite sanctions.

“Today, our intelligence and military special services provided all the necessary information to the prime minister and his team about the missiles Russia uses daily, how many Western components are in them, and the components from various countries and companies worldwide—both American and European.”

The president noted that Ukraine values the Netherlands’ leadership in working on the sanctions regime against Russia.

Zelenskyy added that he requested the Netherlands to collaborate with other partners to ensure that the sanctions against Russia “are truly effective and work 100% against this war.”

On September 2, the new Dutch Prime Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, whose government took office in early July, made her first unannounced visit to Ukraine and traveled to Zaporizhzhia with Zelenskyy. During the visit, she announced an aid package worth over 200 million euros.
