Ukraine has completed its performances at the 2024 Olympics, – results

Ukraine completed its performance at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, taking 22nd place among 83 countries. Ukrainian athletes won: 3 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Medals were won by:

🥇 Gold medals: Women’s saber fencing team, which included Olha Kharlan, Olena Kravatska, Alina Komaschuk and Yuliya Bakastova. Yaroslava Mahuchikh — athletics, high jump. Oleksandr Khizhniak — boxing, up to 80 kg

🥈 Silver medals: Serhii Kulish — rifle shooting from three positions at a distance of 50 meters. Ilia Kovtun — sports gymnastics, exercises on parallel bars. Parviz Nasibov – Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 67 kg. Lyudmila Luzan and Anastasiya Rybachok — 500-meter double canoe rowing. Iryna Koliadenko — freestyle wrestling, up to 62 kg.

🥉 Bronze medals: Olha Kharlan – saber fencing, personal first. Iryna Gerashchenko — athletics, high jump. Mykhailo Kokhan – hammer thrower. Zhan Beleniuk – Greco-Roman wrestling, up to 87 kg.

Besides, three gold awards at the Paris Olympic Games are Ukraine’s best result in 12 years at the Olympic level.

Now Ukraine is suffering from the bloody war of aggression unleashed against it by Russia. Despite the difficult economic and military situation and constant human casualties, Ukrainians once again demonstrate that they are capable of achieving their goals, especially in sports.

These Olympic Games and the Ukrainian athletics team were able to demonstrate the true strength of the Ukrainian spirit and remind the whole world once again about the war in our country.
