The three defense partnership agreements will be signed by the U.S. and Ukrainian Presidents Joe Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky. This was announced today, on August 27, during a meeting between Deputy Chief of Staff Roman Mashovets and US Army and Defense Attaché Brittany Stewart, UA informs.
Roman Mashovets noted the practical readiness to develop drafts of three bilateral documents on defense partnership, projects in the sphere of research, development, testing and evaluation and cooperation in space. The American side announced its readiness to sign the documents during the visit of President of Ukraine to Washington D.C.
Participants of the meeting have also discussed the further development of Ukrainian-American cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.
To remind, meeting of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky with U.S. leader Joe Biden to take place on August 31.
