Ukrainian Minister of Defence Rustem Umerov has claimed that Ukraine is determined not just to end the war but to achieve a victory.

Rustem Umerov declared this in an interview with Fox News.

“We are able and capable to win. We have a plan, and we are voicing out that we need more weapons. And hesitation to provide us weapons, hesitation to provide us permissions and lifting bans – this takes time. Time is very crucial, but we are able and capable of doing it,” Rustem Umerov said in Washington.

Umerov added that Ukraine is fighting for democracy and an opportunity to be a a part of a civilized war, not a barbaric and terrorist Russia.

He also mentioned the attack on the Okhmatdyt children’s hospital as another reason why Ukraine’s allies must efficiently supply it with more weapons and a chance to destroy Russian military targets.

Previously, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the West must support Ukraine if it doesn’t want to bow to Putin and allow full occupation of the state.
