President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg will travel to Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine February 13-22 to discuss ways to end Russia’s war in Ukraine with U.S. allies.
This was announced by the U.S. Department of State, as reported by Ukrinform.
“Assistant to the President and Special Presidential Envoy for Russia and Ukraine Keith Kellogg will travel to Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine February 13-22 to advance President Trump’s goal of securing peace through strength in Ukraine and upholding the national security interests of the United States of America,” the statement reads.
It is noted that Kellogg will participate in the Munich Security Conference and visit NATO and EU headquarters in Brussels, where he will discuss with European allies their readiness to work with the U.S. to end Russia’s war against Ukraine and restore stability in Europe.
In Kyiv, Kellogg plans to meet with Ukrainian government officials and “private citizens who have bravely endured almost three years of war.” “Special Presidential Envoy Kellogg is committed to carrying out the tough diplomacy it will take to achieve the President’s objective,” the State Department stated.
Kellogg also posted on X about his trip to Europe to discuss ways to end the war in Ukraine.
“Heading to Europe to meet with allies and partners who are ready to work with the U.S. to achieve President Trump’s goal to end the war in Ukraine and restore stability in Europe,” Kellogg wrote.
“Looking forward to productive meetings to get things moving swiftly,” he added.
As previously reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed during a phone conversation to immediately start work between their two teams. The priority includes meetings between the Ukrainian side and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.
