Russian hybrid forces carried out 15 attacks with heavy weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements. Some of the shells fired on May 7 by Russian hybrid forces hit residential areas and destroyed homes. One militant was killed and five wounded. Fighting was reported near the village of Zaitseve where there were 27 artillery attacks recorded. Shells were also fired in the vicinity of the villages of Popasna, Krymske, Luhanske, Novotoshkivske, Avdiyivka, and Shyrokyne.
