Donald Trump stated on a Truth Social platform that he is the only U.S. president who did not give any Ukrainian territory to Vladimir Putin’s Russia.
This is reported by The Telegraph, Ukrinform saw.
“The only President who gave none of Ukraine’s land to Putin’s Russia is President Donald J. Trump. Remember that when the weak and ineffective Democrat’s criticize, and the Fake News gladly puts out anything they say!” he wrote.
The publication recalled that in 2014, after Russia occupied Crimea, the then-U.S. President, Barack Obama, was heavily criticized for failing to send weapons to Ukraine.
As reported earlier, on Friday, the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and the United States at the White House ended early after a spat arose over the facts about the war in Ukraine, as well as the credibility of words and agreements with Putin. At the same time, the agreement between the two countries related to minerals extraction was never signed despite expectations.
U.S Secretary of State Marco Rubio later stated that Washington would be ready to resume cooperation whenever Ukraine is ready to achieve peace.
