Jonas Gahr Støre, Norway’s Prime Minister, refuses to believe any of the presidential candidates will fully deprive Ukraine of assistance or abandon NATO.

He stated this in a Bloomberg interview.

“When you really go into it and you study it and you have responsibility, you will see what is at stake. The idea that you will be all in or all out, I think that’s a bit too simplistic,” Jonas Gahr Støre explained his view on the matter to Bloomberg.

Donald Trump critisized European members of NATO for their inability to invest minimal 2% of their GDP to collective defence and even threatened to encourage any hostile actions towards such states, which raised concerns among some European leaders.

Also, many believe Trump will solve the issue of Ukraine-Russia war by driving Ukraine towards territorial concessions or cutting of the military assistance in the future.

Previously, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed he was not afraid of working with Trump administration.
