Trump Extends American Sanctions Against Russia

US President Donald Trump has stretched sanctions against Russia for one more year.

On March 2, 2018, Donald Trump signed an executive order related to the President’s Continuation of the National Emergency for a year with Respect to Ukraine

“The actions and policies of the Government of the Russian Federation with respect to Ukraine undermine democratic processes and institutions in Ukraine; threaten its peace, security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity; and contribute to the misappropriation of its assets,” wrote US President Donald Trump in the executive order on March 2, 2018.
