367,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine are planned to arrive to Ukraine this week. Prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal told this during the government meeting on April 21, correspondent of UATV informs.
“This week additional 367,000 doses of vaccines produced by AstraZeneca company are to arrive to Ukraine. That is, the total amount of the vaccines delivered will make more than 1.1 million doses till the end of the week”, – the head of the government stressed.
According to Denys Shmyhal, additional vaccines will also arrive to Ukraine in May. This would allow to speed up the vaccination campaign.
As UATV reported earlier, the South Korea produced AstraZeneca vaccine against coronavirus has been registered in Ukraine.
To remind, Johnson & Johnson said it will continue delivering the COVID-19 vaccines even though 8 cases of blood clots have been registered in the USA after using this drug.
