On the night of March 23, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv and the region using attack drones. Destruction was recorded in five districts of the capital. Residential buildings and office premises caught fire. All emergency services were on site.
As reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA), as a result of the night attack by the Russian Federation, three people died, including a father and his five-year-old daughter. Another 10 were injured, the youngest is 11 months old.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a fire of 100 square meters on the upper floors of a 9-story building with the spread to the roof was extinguished in the Dniprovsky district of Kyiv. A woman died. 27 people were evacuated from the house. At another address, on the 6th floor of a 16-story building, a window, floor and ceiling of one of the apartments were damaged.
In Podolsk district, a fire on the area of 20 square meters on the 20th floor of a 25-story residential building has been extinguished. In Holosiivsky, the fire in a 4-story office and warehouse building on the area of 2,000 square meters is still being extinguished. A fire in a residential trailer and trucks on the area of 60 square meters has been extinguished. One person died.
In Desnyansky district, as a result of a Russian attack, a fire broke out in an open area in a forest belt. In Shevchenkivsky district, two cars were damaged.
In addition, as reported by rescuers, a fire broke out in the Kyiv region due to the fall of UAV debris on the territory of one of the enterprises. Also, due to the fall of debris, two people were injured and three private residential buildings were damaged.
As previously reported, the Russian army attacked populated areas in the Sumy region with bombs and a drone. On March 21, the occupiers dropped several guided aerial bombs (GAB) on the center of the village of Krasnopillia.
5-year-old Nicole and her father Oleksandr died in the Russian attack on Kyiv, her mother was hospitalized.
As noted, the family moved to the capital from Orikhiv, Zaporizhia region.
“According to neighbors, on Thursday Nicole took part in a performance in a kindergarten together with other local children. On the evening of March 23, she and her father were killed when Russia carried out drone attacks on Kyiv. Her mother was hospitalized,” the post says.
While Russia cynically claims that it seeks peace, its drones and missiles continue to kill the civilian Ukrainian citizens.
