A total of 30 Ukrainian exporters presented organic food products within Ukraine’s national pavilion at the world’s largest trade fair for organic food, BIOFACH 2025, in Germany.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Ukraine’s participation in international exhibitions, such as BIOFACH, is an important instrument for expanding the geography of Ukrainian organic food exports. Establishing cooperation and strengthening ties with partners from the EU, Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Switzerland contributes to integrating our organic sector into the European market and ensures the sustainable development of the industry, even amid the wartime challenges,” Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food First Deputy Minister Taras Vysotskyi noted.
During the trade fair, Vysotskyi held a number of important meetings with the representatives of the organic agriculture department of the European Commission, the Czech Agriculture Ministry, and the Swiss State Secretariat.
A reminder that Ukraine’s national pavilion at the BIOFACH 2025 trade fair was organized by the Ukrainian Berries Association, the Entrepreneurship and Export Promotion Office and the Diia.Business national project under the aegis of the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry and with the support of Switzerland, the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF), with the financial support of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL).
