Germany has sent its third Patriot air defence system to Ukraine.
German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger wrote this on X.
“The third Patriot air defense system from Germany has already arrived in Ukraine. It will strengthen the protection of the country’s population and infrastructure from aircraft, drones and missiles. The Ukrainian crew successfully passed the appropriate training in Germany in the recent months,” Jaeger announced.
Previously, during his visit to Germany, Volodymyr Zelenskyy inspected this Patriot defence system as the technicians were preparing it for the transfer.
German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius claimed that Germany was sending 25% of its own stock of its air defence systems, ncluding the third Patriot system, and would not be able to send more in the nearest future.
