The Russians are suffering huge losses in the war against Ukraine. Putin unleashed a senseless war of aggression against Ukraine to satisfy his imperial ambitions. Today the world is witnessing the debunking of myths about the strength of the Russian army. And the reality is much tougher, because tens of thousands of Russians are thrown into the attack as manpower. Alexander Musiyenko, head of the Center for Military Legal Research, said this on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.
“There is no other way out for Putin. He already sees that he has unleashed this senseless and aggressive war against Ukraine. More precisely, it makes sense for him, obviously – the satisfaction of neo-imperial ambitions. But this war has, let’s say, a corresponding background. After all, Russia has built a very powerful toolkit for conducting a psychological and information-propaganda war against its own population, including,” the expert said.
According to him, decades of information propaganda of the Russian Federation, its sowing of hatred and aggression are now being embodied. But for many, insight is coming.
But the head of the Kremlin continues aggression in order to remain in power and somehow explain at least something to the population of the Russian Federation.
“What is needed to continue the war? At least some results and achievements are needed. Therefore, today there are such battles in the area of Bakhmut, Ugledar. We are talking about small settlements, which are stormed by Russian troops for several months. And now the whole world, I think, is watching very well, debunking the myths that the Russian army is one of the strongest on the continent, if not the strongest. That the Russian army is capable of capturing almost all of Europe. These are the myths that Russian propagandists told. That they have enough weapons and equipment. Where is this weaponry? Where is this technology? Where is it all if people are fighting. They didn’t come up with anything better,” Musienko said.
He believes that the colossal losses that Russia bears at the front can help the world, and Russians in particular, see the harsh reality.
“I hope that this will become such a powerful sobering or, let’s say, awakening from this lethargic dream in which many are, the one that many in Russia are trying to close their eyes, disown and say, they say, we have nothing to do with it, to understand that, in principle, today there is a big debunking of these soap bubbles. Those who have been swindled by Russian propagandists for years, ”the guest of the air emphasized.
The price of the “soap bubbles” of Russian propaganda is hundreds of thousands of lives, which the Kremlin does not feel sorry for.
“The cruelty of the situation is that those soap bubbles, those thoughts, that propaganda that poured into the ears of the citizens of Russia, it was pretty sweet, it was even inspiring. But reality is much tougher. And the reality is cruel in that in fact the price of all these soap bubbles is the dead thousands, hundreds of thousands of people who are thrown into the attack like a human shield, ”Musienko summed up.
The Russian Federation in the war against Ukraine has already lost about 151,370 thousand personnel.
