The U.S. Department of Defense on Wednesday, November 20, announced the provision of another military aid package to Ukraine worth $275 million.

This was stated in a Pentagon statement.

The new U.S. military aid package is provided under the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) program, through which weapons are supplied from U.S. Army stockpiles.

The package includes ammunition for HIMARS systems, 155mm and 105mm artillery shells, 60mm and 81mm mortar rounds, drones, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, and TOW anti-tank missiles.

In addition, Ukraine will receive small arms and ammunition, demolition munitions, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear protection equipment, as well as spare parts and auxiliary equipment.

“The United States will continue to work together with around 50 NATO members and partners through the Ukraine Defense Contact Group and associated coalitions of forces and resources to meet Ukraine’s urgent battlefield needs and to defend against Russian aggression,” the Pentagon added.

It was also previously reported that U.S. President Joe Biden approved the supply of landmines to Ukraine, which could help strengthen the defenses of Ukrainian forces against the advance of Russian occupation troops.

The Biden administration is also planning to send a request to Congress for new aid to Ukraine for the 2025 fiscal year.
