The United States will give Ukraine another combat boat

The United States of America will give Ukraine the Island-class patrol boat this year.

This is reported by UA with reference to the information of the Ukrainian Embassy in the United States on Facebook.

Also the embassy told about the arrival of another crew of Ukrainian sailors in Maryland for training in management and operation of the vessel.

This is the fifth crew to train in the United States.

“The crew is trained on the patrol boat directly. Repair and restoration work is coming to the end on the boat, and is undergoing planned preparation and maintenance for the transfer to the Ukrainian Armed Forces this year” – the embassy said.

To remind, to contain Russian aggression Ukraine needs a strong economy, so Ukraine has offered the United States to create a free trade zone.
