The Russian Federation lags behind in the development of IT infrastructure. There are also delays in the development of artificial intelligence, because the Russian Federation is trying to pass off someone else’s product as its own. Today, December 6, the co-founder of DroneUA, an expert in the field of unmanned technologies and robotics Valery Yakovenko, spoke about this on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.
“The Russian Federation is always 5-6 months behind Ukraine in the development of IT infrastructure. Those systems that Ukraine uses in drones, after 5-6 months, the Russian Federation tries to copy them. “Ukraine confidently holds the lead in the use of technology,” he said.
Sanctions prevent Russia from developing its technologies. Everything new that is produced in the Russian Federation is the use of other people’s tools, which they try to pass off as their own, the expert emphasized.
“If we talk about artificial intelligence systems, which are heard in propaganda on the territory of the Russian Federation, then most often we are talking about the merging of huge budgets and the re-gluing of stickers of some already known tools, which are trying to adapt to their capabilities. But we should not forget that Russia is under sanctions, and any country in the world, a company that produces a significant tool, will not supply it on the territory of the Russian Federation, fearing sanctions from Ukraine’s allies,” he explained.
