The President of Germany and his wife will visit Ukraine

The President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender will visit Ukraine. The visit is scheduled for October 6.

This was reported on the website of the German president, writes UA.

“Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Elke Budenbender will visit Ukraine on October 6 at the invitation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. They will take part in the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the massacres in Babyn Yar” – the statement said.

In addition to the memorial ceremony in Babyn Yar, several meetings with the participants of the event are planned.

The German president’s administration promises to provide more information about Steinmeier’s visit to Ukraine later.

To remind, President of Poland Andrzej Duda will meet with several presidents, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his stay at the 76th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
