The attack resulted in one apartment building being completely destroyed and damage to 30 others. Several private houses were also severely damaged.
As previously reported, the number of victims of the massive enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia early on January 23 has risen to, 45 people are known to be injured, one person died, Ukrinform reported.
This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
“Forty-five victims at the moment. People continue to seek medical care following the night enemy attack,” he wrote.
As a result of the massive attack on Zaporizhzhia, two employees of Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo (regional power supplying company) were injured.
“Repair crews from the company were working at the site of damage to electrical equipment caused by a drone attack from the terrorist state on the regional center. During emergency repair work, the enemy launched a second strike on the city. Most of the personnel managed to take shelter, but unfortunately, two of our colleagues sustained injuries from glass fragments,” said Head of Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo Andrii Stasevskyi.
The energy workers are currently in the hospital, and according to doctors, their lives are not in danger.
As previously reported, the enemy initially attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. During efforts to address the aftermath of the drone attack, four missile strikes were launched.
