State Enterprise UkSATSE revealed a list of the most popular Ukrainian and foreign airlines in Ukraine.
This was reported by press service of the department.
In 2017 UkSATSE served 172,000 take-offs and landings in Ukrainian airports. It is 18.5 % more than in 2017.
Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) became the leader and carried out 57,200 flights which is 16.4% more than in the year 2016.
Turkish Airlines occupied second place with 27,600 flights (+24.5%). Third – airline company Belavia with 14,500 flights (+13.6%).
Polish flag carrier LOT Polish Airlines accomplished 12,800 flights (+28.8%), Hungarian Wizz Air Hungary LLC – 8,800 flights (+57%), Ukrainian Wind Rose – 8,200 flights (+131.9%), Turkish Pegasus – 5,800 flights (+35.8%).
Air Moldova increased its flight number by 31% – to 5,500, Azur Air Ukraine by 13.1% – to 4,600, Austrian Airlines AG by 17% – to 3,800 flights.
Note that UIA launches flights to “Chinese Hawaii” with no need for visa processing.
