The map with the Crimea separated from Ukraine was corrected on the website of the Olympic Games (PHOTOS)

On the website of the Olympic Games, the map was corrected, where the border between mainland Ukraine and the Russian-occupied Crimea was drawn. Now the map of Ukraine is depicted correctly: the limit has disappeared, and Crimea is Ukraine.

Earlier, an image with the participating countries was posted on the official website of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where the occupied Crimea was separated from the mainland. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine instructed the Ukrainian embassies in Switzerland and Japan to investigate the situation.

On the official website, in the “Schedules and Results” section, a window appears that pops up – it was there that an incorrect map appeared on July 22nd. It has already been fixed today. There is no information on the incident on the website.

“As soon as we learned about the incorrect map on the Olympic website, we immediately contacted the leadership of the International Olympic Committee. They apologized for the mistake. In the morning, Tokyo time, the map has already been corrected,” Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote on Twitter.
