The fifth caravan with Ukrainian food products departs from the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny

This morning, the fifth caravan with agricultural products has left Ukrainian ports. It consists of a vessel SORMOVSKIY 12, which departed the port of Chornomorsk, and a bulk carrier STAR LAURA – from the port of Pivdenny. They carry more than 63,000 tons of agricultural products of cargo.

In particular, the STAR LAURA has become the first Panamax-class ship to leave the Pivdenny port since the beginning of the ‘grain initiative’ implementation, and the third in the general list of giant ships that are already heading through the ‘grain corridor’.

Yet today, the Chornomorsk and Pivdenny ports will receive 2 more vessels for loading – the BRAVE COMMANDER and the PETREL S. More than 40,000 tons of Ukrainian grain will be loaded on them.

Earlier, on the morning of August 9, two more ships, carrying a total of 70,000 tonnes of agricultural products, left the Chornomorsk port.

The RAHMI YAGGI ship will deliver 5,300 tonnes of agricultural products to Turkey, and the bulk carrier OCEAN LION will deliver nearly 65,000 tonnes of corn to South Korea. OCEAN LION was the second vessel that departed from the Chornomorsk port along the “grain corridor”.

Ukraine has already exported more than 370,000 tonnes of agricultural products since the “grain corridor” started operating.
