The European Commission will provide Ukraine with a loan of up to 35 billion euros. Kyiv will receive it as part of the G7 commitments. This was announced today, September 20, by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
“Russia’s continuous attacks mean that Ukraine needs the EU’s continued support. The European Commission will provide Ukraine with a loan of up to 35 billion euros as part of the G7 commitments,” von der Leyen wrote on social media.
According to the head of the European Commission, this is another major contribution by the European Union to the restoration of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that the European Union is allocating an additional 160 million euros to Ukraine for energy sustainability ahead of winter.
Recall that the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen arrived in the capital of Ukraine on September 20.
