The UK is one of the main participants in the coalition to contain Russia. The state is ready to invest in the defense of Ukraine not only with ammunition and weapons – cooperation between Kyiv and London is moving to a new stage. British journalist and writer Andriy Ostalsky spoke about this on the FREEDOM TV channel.
“British officials are planning concrete, real support until 2030. This is a serious promise from the UK Government and they are determined to deliver on it in full. If an urgent need arises, then all these positions can be revised upward,” he said.
Labor will not only continue the policies of its predecessors, but will also strengthen them. All this reflects the public mood in Britain, the journalist noted.
“This is not unexpected, since, while in opposition, the Labor Party and Keir Starmer personally stated that if they came to power, they would not only not change their support for Ukraine, but would even try to strengthen it. And this was the only issue on which the Labor Party refused to criticize the Conservatives while they were in government. All this reflects the mood of British public opinion,” he concluded.
