President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen have started the 23rd Ukraine-EU Summit which takes place in Kyiv.

In the morning, the heads of the European Union institutions arrived at the Mariyinsky Palace, where they were greeted by the President of Ukraine. They had a conversation before the event.
A number of agreements between Ukraine and the European Union are planned to be signed in the framework of the Summit. A joint statement will be adopted based on its results.
The President of Ukraine, the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission will also make statements to the media following the meeting.
To remind, the European Union has expanded the sanctions against Russia due to the occupation of the Ukrainian Crimea. The list of sanctions includes 8 people who work for the Russian occupation regime.
