“Democracy in Ukraine is quite good and it continues to develop” said Swiss ambassador to Ukraine, Guillaume Scheurer, to UNN.
The ambassador explained further what he meant: “We saw that during the previous presidential election the state of the Ukrainian democracy was critical. Democracy in Ukraine is young and active enough, even effective. We have seen many presidents assuming office and various political parties making it to the parliament during the 25 years or so of the country’s independence.”
