According to numerous reports from Russian media, on August 6, the Ukrainian army invaded the Kursk region from the Sumy region.

They have reported that the town is now under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and that the situation is calm and the civilian buildings are intact, as well as the gas station which is a strategic facility.
