About 257 thousand Ukrainians live with HIV. This was stated by Minister of Health Viktor Liashko. Last year 2 and a half thousand people died from the consequences of the disease in our country. The main reason is the late diagnosis. According to statistics from the Ministry of Health, every third infected person does not know about their HIV status. In order to draw public attention to the problem on the World AIDS Day, and talk about the need for testing, a social action was held in the center of Kyiv.
