Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s demand to “stop forced mobilization in Ukraine and rearm the Armed Forces” for a ceasefire, said that Russia should refuse military aid from North Korea and Iran if it is “concerned” about Western assistance to Ukraine during a possible truce.
Sikorski wrote about this in X
“If Russia is concerned about foreign military supplies during the proposed truce with Ukraine, it could take the initiative by refusing to supply Iranian drones and North Korean artillery ammunition.”
Putin’s demand has already been rejected by several countries. In particular, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron said they would continue to provide military assistance to Ukraine.
The same position was expressed in the UK.
U.S. President Donald Trump said that during his phone conversation with Putin, they did not discuss the topic of assistance to Ukraine.
