Serhiy Nahornyak, 47, was approved as the head coach of Ukraine’s youth football teams under-19 and under-15.
Nahornyak is a retired professional footballer. He made his debut in the Ukrainian First League in 1992 for FC Vorksla Poltava. He played in one game in the UEFA Champions League 1995-1996 for FC Spartak Moscow.

Earlier, Nahornyak worked as an assistant to Vladimir Yezersky in the under-17 Ukrainian youth team.
The coach was appointed his position by the Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) and his contract became valid on Friday and will last to Dec. 31, 2020, the press service of Football Federation of Ukraine wrote.
