Russian occupiers are concentrating significant forces on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region, – military observer

The Russian occupiers are concentrating their forces on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. Military commentator Denys Popovych said this today, December 5, on the air of FREEDOM TV channel.

“The forces that the enemy is concentrating in order to eliminate bridgeheads on the entire left bank are already being measured there by regiments and brigades. He has a specific task to achieve some success, and it is highly desirable by mid-December, when Vladimir Putin’s press conference is expected, where he can obviously announce his presidential ambitions,” he said.

According to a military observer, Putin needs not only success near Avdiivka in Donetsk region, but also the elimination of the bridgehead on the left bank in the Kherson region. He is convinced that the efforts of the Russian occupiers will be directed to the achievement of this task.

“On our side is the accurate work of the artillery from the right bank, the good work of the drones and the steadfastness of our marines who hold this bridgehead. Such bridgeheads need to be expanded. And therefore we should expect that the Ukrainian command will take measures to expand this bridgehead. Why? Because sooner or later, it should be recognized that the enemy’s efforts, especially under such conditions, when he outnumbers us in manpower, can bring results. I mean the liquidation of the bridgehead,” said Popovych.
