Russian-Led Forces Launch Five Attacks Over Past Day

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in Donbas on Monday (Jan. 7).

Russian-backed militants violated the ceasefire regime five times, the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters stated.

The enemy fired on Ukrainian positions with 82 mm mortars banned by the Minsk agreements, grenade launchers of various systems, large machine guns, and other small arms.

There were two attacks in the eastern conflict zone and three in the northern.

Russian-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions in the areas of Pisky and Krymske.
