Fifty-two shellings of the Ukrainain military were recorded on May 1.
Russian hybrid forces used heavy weaponry 13 times, thus violating the Minsk agreements. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation.
“The most active military actions were in the areas of Avdiivka, the Butivka mine, Marinka, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske, Lebedynske, Starohnativka and Nevelske. In the middle of the night, the enemy fired with 120 mm mortars towards Ukrainian positions in Luhansk twice,” the Joint Forces Operation’s press center reported.
Two Ukrainian servicemen were wounded and were immediately taken to a hospital. According to Ukrainian intelligence, the enemy lost four fighters.
Russian hybrid forces used 152 mm artillery on Troitske at 11p.m, firing 15 times towards the village, in which there are no Ukrainaian troops. This violated the international human rights law.
Today, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe’s Special Monitoring Mission will start to work in Troitske. The mission will provide assistance to residents.
