Russia is going to flood social media with disinformation to influence Americans and their votes at the 2024 presidential election in the U.S.
This was reported by Associated Press.
“The American public should know that content that they read online — especially on social media — could be foreign propaganda, even if it appears to be coming from fellow Americans or originating in the United States,” an official from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence warns, quoted by AP.
According to U.S. intelligence, China and Iran will also make efforts to ‘make a contribution” to U.S. elections. The Wall Street Journal has reported that Iran seeks to undermine Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
Though Democrats switched from Biden to Harris at the last moment and made China, Russia and Iran reinvent their propaganda, they still want to show America’s democracy is fading away.
