Russia tries to shift responsibility for situation on Zaporizhia NPP onto Ukraine, – Zelensky’s Office

Serhiy Leshchenko, adviser to the head of the office of the president of Ukraine, in his address told about Russian propagandists statements which shift Ukraine responsible for the situation on the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant. Russia’s state TV channels spread fake messages that allegedly Ukrainian Armed Forces are targeting Zaporizhia NPP. One of the artillery strikes of the Russian Armed Forces damaged the first block of the pumping station of the thermal and underground communications facility. Another strike from Russia led to the partial destruction of the fire department responsible for the safety of the Zaporizhia NPP. Also, as a result of enemy shelling, the forest and grass in the surrounding areas caught fire, which caused significant smoke. Serhiy Leshchenko stressed that it is Russia as the occupying power that bears full responsibility for the processes surrounding the Zaporizhia NPP. For more details – watch full address.
