Mikhail Galuzin, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, has stated Russia would not participate in the second Peace Summit, adding that Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula is “ultimative”.

This was reported by Russian pro-Kremlin media.

Despite the claims that the Peace Summit in Switzerland wasn’t successful as Russia was absent, the Russian Foreign Ministry now disregards the second peace conference and any conference promoting Ukraine’s outlook for peace as a ‘dead-end ultimatum’.

Bloomberg has reported that Ukraine seeks to arrange the second peace summit before the U.S. election in November. Ukrainian officials have mentioned Russia’s presence.

“We must react firmly. We must and can organise the second Peace Summit this year based on the Peace Formula – even more powerful, and truly decisive. We need that support from the US.” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his speech at the Reagan Institute in Washington on July 10.
