Russia is not committed to the negotiation process, it wants to get an operational pause and, if the conflict freezes, it will conduct additional mobilization, its own fictitious elections, and will have the opportunity to take shells from North Korea. In parallel with this, there will be a harsh information attack, influencing EU countries so that they are distracted from helping Ukraine. And the next stage is the stage of war. This opinion was voiced on the FREEDOM TV channel by Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine (OPU).
“Russia does not offer negotiations. The Russian Federation remained in the concept of “I want to take control of a large territory of Ukraine. I want to take control of Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, I want to enter the Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia.” What negotiations are you talking about? That is, negotiations as such are impossible, because Russia’s concept is the restoration of the USSR. And the main point here is total control over Ukraine. This is an obvious goal, it has not gone away,” Podolyak said.
He believes that the Russian Federation needs an operational pause under the guise of negotiations in order to freeze the front line.
“Russia does not want negotiations; it does not know such an option at all. She wants us to allow her to get an operational pause for a month, three, six months, which means freezing the front line. At this time, Russia will conduct additional mobilization, its political campaigns, which they call elections, will invest additional money in the military component, and will have the opportunity to get shells in North Korea,” said the adviser to the head of the OPU.
At the same time, the Kremlin will attack as harshly as possible with information, he believes.
“By political provocations, they will try to undermine the countries of Europe, so that they spread out more and more in their unwillingness to help Ukraine. And then – the next stage of the war,” Podolyak said.
Negotiations are an opportunity for compromise, and the Russian Federation cannot make them, since it has not abandoned the global goal of destroying the statehood of Ukraine.
“What should Russia offer as a compromise? Is it that she captured the city of Genichesk, and therefore she will not go anywhere further? So they spent 300 thousand people for this? And then ask the question: will Russia definitely no longer move towards the western borders of Ukraine? Or will she continue to implement the main plan – the destruction of the sovereign statehood of Ukraine?” the guest of the broadcast emphasized.
Russia never proposes a negotiation process, he continued.
“When we say the word “negotiations,” we are supposed to make an operational pause in the war so that Russia can work on its mistakes and strengthen itself for the next stage of the war,” the speaker said.
He also emphasized that none of the allies is forcing Ukraine to negotiate, because everyone understands these risks.
“Another question is that the Western military production machine is inertly unfolding in order to increase and increase supplies to Ukraine. We would like these deliveries, firstly, to be faster, and secondly, to correspond to the challenges we see on the front line. This is the so-called technological breakthrough: drones, long-range missiles in a much larger volume, aviation components, additional electronic jamming and tracking systems, and the like. This is what needs to be talked about. There is no “negotiations” option, this is a fiction, which, unfortunately, will lead to even more murders, even more fatal consequences,” concluded Mykhailo Podolyak.
