As a result of massive strikes by Russians on Kharkiv, at least 41 people were injured. The Novaya Pochta branches, the Sports Palace, a gas pipeline, and a shopping center were damaged. This was reported today, September 1, by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

It is known that the occupiers aimed exclusively at civilian infrastructure in several locations. According to preliminary information from law enforcement agencies, the Russians used Iskander missiles during the strikes.

As Sinegubov reported, there are five children among the victims.

All emergency services are working on the ground: rescuers, police officers, and psychologists from the State Emergency Service. Utility workers have also been involved in the rescue work.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the Russian attack. He noted that all necessary forces have been brought in for the rescue operation.

“And all necessary forces in the world must be brought in to stop this terror. This does not require extraordinary forces, but sufficient courage on the part of leaders – the courage to give Ukraine everything it needs to defend itself,” the head of state emphasized.
