Deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine held a meeting with Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Kaimo Kuusk, the defense attaché and his assistant for bilateral cooperation in the security area.
Mashovets thanked for the strong support of Ukraine from Estonia since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russia. He praised the efforts of the President and the government of this country to defend the interests of Ukraine in international organizations.
Estonian diplomats were given detailed information about the conduct and consequences of Russia’s massive missile attacks on civilian energy infrastructure facilities. In this context, the parties focused on the effectiveness of air defense and missile defense equipment, which Ukraine receives as material and technical assistance. There was an exchange of experience regarding ways and means of countering Russian means of air and missile aggression.
The directions of further cooperation with the Republic of Estonia with the aim of strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities and training of Ukrainian troops were discussed.
Separately, the deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine thanked for Estonia’s active support of our country’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
