The Ministry of Defense noted that the small armored artillery boats of the Gyurza-M type as part of the Naval Forces of Ukraine had the opportunity to perform tasks in rivers and estuaries.

“It is extremely important for Ukrainian military sailors to gain experience in the use of such forces in certain areas. And the format of the Ukrainian-Romanian Riverine-2019 exercise is best suited for this,” the report said.
